Kelimutu – Indonesia's Tri-Colored Lakes
The lakes of Kelimutu are located at the in central Flores Island of Indonesia, close to the small town of Moni about 50 km to the east of Ende, there are basically three lakes of Kelimutu in different colors.Kelimutu is also known as the name of ''volcano''.It is says that the lakes change there color with the passage of time and its reason is the chemical reactions resulting from the minerals contained in the lake.
